Qigong in the Gardens

  • Casa del Herrero 1387 E. Valley Road Santa Barbara, California, 93108 United States of America (map)

Join us for the opportunity to learn Qigong from Linda Peng in the Casa’s beautiful Blue and White Garden.

Twelve-Routine Qigong has an emphasis on physical and mental practice, integrates motion, breathing, and mindfulness for improved vitality. This is a seated Qigong form which is based on exercises that have been practiced over thousands of years in China. It involves systematic exercise of the head, neck, shoulders, back, waist, arms, legs, chest and abdomen one after another. It has graceful movements and smooth transitions which are safe, reliable, and easy to learn.

About Your Instructor:

Linda Peng has been practicing Traditional Daoist Qigong for nearly twenty years, and has a strong interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). In her daily practice, she prefers to combine Qigong practicing with meridian (energy channels) opening. She loves the feeling of building up more Qi to store in her Dantian, which she understands will nourish her in the future. Practicing Qigong allows her to connect with nature with her heart and her breath.

By persisting in practicing Qigong, she is so grateful that she has found inner peace and balance, comfort and harmony in this busy world.

Admission is $25 for Casa del Herrero members and $100 for non-members.

Space is limited. Reservations are required. This event is weather permitting and will be rescheduled due to inclement weather.
