Casa del Herrero’s mission includes providing educational experiences to students and lifelong learners.
In additional to docent-led walking tours covering a broad scope of site history, we offer school field trips and customized docent-led tours that explore the remarkable architecture, art history, and landscape design on display here at Montecito’s only National Historic Landmark.
Children’s Summer Arts Program
In the summer months, Casa del Herrero offers field trip opportunities to local organizations and schools stewarding children between the ages of 6-12. This new program allows local youth to experience the artisanship of Casa del Herrero’s exterior architecture and diverse garden spaces through low-stress outdoor activities and art classes.
