The Casa del Herrero Foundation derives its funding from memberships, grants, tour revenues, and from its renowned fundraising events.

Our two major annual events take place in high summertime, in the beautiful Casa Gardens, and again at Christmastime, when the Casa’s splendor becomes even more captivating with the donning of traditionally elegant holiday décor.

These events fill up and sell out quickly, as they are limited to 150.

Additionally, the Casa hosts Conversations at the Casa and members-only events throughout the year, as well as George Washington Smith Home Tours in alternate years.

Annual Calendar of Events

Mid- February	Docent-led Tours Begin (Date TBD) Casa opens for public tours on Wednesdays and Saturdays through mid-November.
Early Spring	George Washington Smith Home Tour Event (Date TBD, 2011) Join us for a tour of private GWS homes opened to the public just for this occasion.
Mid- Spring	Members-Only Spring Garden Walk (April 6, 2010) Come enjoy the ambiance of the Casa del Herrero gardens on a lovely spring evening. Sip a glass of wine as you meet fellow members.
Early Summer	Conversations at the Casa del Herrero (Date TBD) Evening cocktails, conversation, & informal tour of the Casa & Gardens.
Mid- Summer	Arias al Fresco Fundraiser (August 15, 2010) Seize the summer and celebrate the Casa with Opera Santa Barbara, great food, drink, and friends.
Mid-Autumn	Event TBD
Early December	Our Holiday Fundraising Gala Event (December 3. 2010) Come see the Casa awash in her elegant Holiday splendor.
