Architecture Every part of the Casa is a personal extension of the Steedmans and it stands as a tribute to their imagination, creativity, passion for authenticity and love of life as well as to their commitment to beauty.
The house was completed in 1925, and is noted for its extensive use of Mediterranean tile as well as splendid examples of 13th to 18th century Spanish furniture, antique architectural detail, and artwork. Much was purchased by Steedman on several buying trips to Spain with noted experts on Spanish antiquities, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Byne. |
